Skyway Jack's has served the city of St. Petersburg since 1976 and is located south of downtown St. Petersburg. The restaurant is a local favorite and a common spot for tourists, preparing 1,300 eggs, 60 pounds of sausage and 45 pounds of bacon on a busy day, according to the St. Petersburg Times. Among the items featured on the menu are eggs Florentine, stuffed french toast and omelets. The restaurant also serves scrapple, a dish made from ground pork trimming and cornmeal formed into a loaf, sliced and fried. Skyway Jack's serves breakfast daily as well as lunch.
