Oak Street beach is a public beach featuring a beach bar for food and drinks, a volleyball court, lounging chairs for sunbathers and a concrete path for in-line skaters. One thing to remember is that credit cards are not accepted on this beach---vendors accept cash only!
There are a number of golf courses located in or near Elmwood Park. Some options include showing off your skills at the Indian Boundary Partner Golf Center or improving your drive at Oak Park Country Club. The Indian Boundary and Oak Park country club offer well-maintained courses, driving ranges and miniature golf courses while the Partner Golf is a golf-simulating center. Professional lessons to improve golfing techniques are available at the complexes. Weekend rates fall between $25 and $35 for an 18-hole game. Golfing equipment is available for hire.
