Each year, usually in the first week or two of September, fantasy football enthusiasts gather to discuss the upcoming professional football season. Drafting techniques, roster-move planning clinics, and new fantasy football league software is put on display. In 2010 the event was held at the Venetian Resort and Hotel with 1,800 guests and vendors in attendance.

The National Association of Home Builders hosts its annual International Builders Show for professional contractors, building technology companies and the general public. Companies can put their newest products on display for contractors to see, and contractors can present their credentials to private individuals and companies looking to hire. In 2010 the NAHB International Builder's Show was held at te Las Vegas Convention Center with approximately 60,000 contractors, vendors and customers.

Metalcon is an annual trade show and convention for contractors that offer metal construction services. There are also vendors that sell new building techniques, products and machines for metal construction. The public is also invited and perhaps hire a contractor for their next metal construction project.
