With typically more than 180 craft shops and 42 food outlets, this festival has been recognized by the American Bus Association as one of the 100 best events in North America. The Carroll County Farm Museum, in Westminster, Md, hosts the annual Maryland Wine Festival in September. The Wine Festival features wine seminars and tastings, arts and crafts vendors, live music, food and an amateur wine competition. Designated drivers receive a discounted admission.
