The original concept of a Las Vegas buffet was a restaurant that operated at a loss to entice customers to the casino. As corporations and five-star restaurants have taken over the strip, the buffet concept has changed to a profitable restaurant with a high price tag. With most dinner buffet prices at $25-plus per person, low priced, high quality buffets in each area of the Las Vegas strip are still available.
The Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino only charges $19 dollars for its dinnertime "Emperor's Buffet". It currently offers a pass for the entire day for $25 or dining credits of $50 per room if you book double occupancy accommodations. All prices are as of spring 2010.
