Plaster Fun Time can be found just nine miles outside of Canton, and offers a variety of options for birthday parties and school trips. Parties are hosted seven days a week and staff takes care of all the preparations. Parents are only required to bring the cake, beverages and paper goods. Castle Island Park is located just 20 minutes outside of Canton in South Boston, and is open year-round. There are a variety of places in this 22-acre urban park to hold a birthday party, such as the picnic areas, featuring picnic tables and grills, the children's playground or the tot lot. Activities at Castle Island include biking, fishing, swimming and bird watching. Tours are also available of Fort Independence, built between 1834 and 1851.
