San Bernardino, California, is a city of about 200,000 people, about 50 miles east of Los Angeles. Most of the city's major eateries are in the downtown area, which is adjacent to the freeway that connects San Bernardino to the L.A. area. Of the major eateries, more than half a dozen are either steakhouses or feature steak as a specialty.
Three major, well-known restaurant chains--Black Angus Steakhouse, Outback Steakhouse and Sizzler--all have locations within a mile or so of one another in downtown San Bernardino. Each location is a full-service, dine-in restaurant that offers a full menu of steak cuts and is also close to the city's nightlife and regional freeways.
