The Average High Temperature in Las Vegas

The city of Las Vegas has a typical desert climate, with hot days and cool nights. Although summer temperatures can reach well above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, winter days are cooled down by the reduced hours of sunlight.

  1. Summer Highs

    • According to the Weather Channel, July and August feature the highest average highs at 104 Fahrenheit and 102 Fahrenheit respectively. June comes in at 99 Fahrenheit.

    Fall Highs

    • September remains fairly warm with an average high of 94 Fahrenheit but then things begin to cool down as October comes in at an average high of 81 Fahrenheit and November registers an average high of only 66 Fahrenheit.

    Winter

    • Winter months bring lows near freezing levels and high temperatures more associated with climates further north. December and January's average high is only 57 Fahrenheit and February comes in at 63 Fahrenheit.

    Spring

    • Spring months mark the beginning of a warming trend with comfortable high temperatures. March averages a high of 69 Fahrenheit, April averages 78 Fahrenheit and May signals a return to balmy temperatures with an average high of 88 Fahrenheit.
