All produce is purchased from local, organic farms and the menu rotates based on what is available at the time of year. Sample menu items include organic baby spinach Greek salad, warm curried crab dip, pasta with herb Prima Vera and grilled salmon with maple balsamic glaze.

WhipperSnappers Fine Fabrics and Notions is a gift shop featuring handmade items from Maine artisans. Items sold include fine art, jewelry, embossed cards, hand-painted ornaments, quilts, puzzles and wall hangings. Quilting fabrics by designers such as Robert Kaufman, Laurel Burch and Kaffe Fasset are featured as well. The shop is found directly across from Hallowell City Hall.

Joyce's is a downtown Hallowell restaurant located on the banks of the Kennbec River that specializes in food, wine and cocktails. More than 30 wines by the glass and 60 by the bottle are offered. During good weather, dine on the patio with views of the river while listening to live music. The menu features appetizers such as baked onion and smoked gouda dip and bacon-wrapped scallops. Entrees include teriyaki steak strips, baked penne pasta, roast pork with bourbon demi glace and grilled shrimp skewers.

Dancewear Maine is a locally owned and operated family business that specializes in dance shoes and apparel.
