Grandview Heights is a small suburb of Columbus, Ohio. The city has its own theaters, libraries, schools and police department, and hosts regular events such as the annual Tour de Grandview cycle race and the Lazy Daze of Summer Festival. Nevertheless, Grandview Heights is so close to its big brother Columbus that many people refer to the two as almost the same city. Luck Bros' Coffee House is, of course, best known for its coffee. Luck Bros' is serious about it and has a large number of both caffeinated and decaffeinated brews like the organic Sumatra Gayo and La Armonia Hermosa from Antigua. Luck Bros' also has its own custom-designed in-house espresso, Hard Luck. The cafe is dedicated to showcasing the freshest coffee from all over the country, and has "roasting partners" in New York, Maryland, Oregon and Washington. Luck Bros' has more than drinks, however. Guests can order bagels, pastries, eggs, sausages and breakfast potatoes. Luck Bros' is known for being pet-friendly as well, handing out complimentary dog treats to canine customers. The restaurant is open for breakfast seven days a week and stays open until 7 p.m. The cafe has outdoor seating and wireless Internet access.

Marshall's is a full-service restaurant which has been open in Grandview Heights since 1985. Marshall's has breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. The "Marshall's Famous Breakfast" offerings include eggs, toast, home fries, pancakes, Belgian waffles, bacon and French toast. As of 2010, the Tuesday through Friday morning breakfast specials are only $3.29. Marshall's is open for breakfast every day except Monday, and on Sundays serves breakfast-only from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner, and has a bar open until 2:30 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
