Sevierville is in the heart of East Tennessee's Great Smoky Mountains and is host to a number of dynamic indoor water parks. The parks in the Sevierville area are open year-round and are connected to next door hotels. When you are not participating in water activities, other tourist attractions in Sevier County include fishing facilities on the French Broad River and Dollywood, an amusement park with roller-coaster rides and games.

The Wilderness at the Smokies resort is in central Sevierville, less than 20 minutes from fishing and boating opportunities at Douglas Lake. This resort's 60,000 square-foot indoor water park, Wild Water Dome, features a see-through roof and offers body surfing and high-speed tube slides. Wild Water Dome is also home to the Great Wave, a 10,000 square-foot wave pool. The resort has an outdoor water park and a miniature golf course that is open during the summer. Amenities at this resort include an exercise center, boutique shop, game rooms and two restaurants that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The resort has two lodges, Stonehill and River, that have guest rooms with king-sized and queen-sized beds, satellite television and suites with living rooms and up to two bedrooms.

Wild Bear Falls in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, approximately 20 minutes outside Sevierville, is connected to the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort. This indoor water park has a 900-foot lazy river, a 350-foot tube slide called Clingman's Dome and a whirlpool. There is also a swimming pool for water basketball. Other amenities include the Serenity Spa, which offers stone massage therapies and pedicures, and the Westgate Smokehouse Grill, which serves breakfast and dinner. All guest suites have living rooms with sleeper sofas, king-sized or queen-sized beds and kitchens. The amount of bedrooms per suite ranges from one to five.
