Located near Cedar Point amusement park and operated as part of the Cedar Point family of parks and resorts, Castaway Bay offers traditional indoor water park amenities such as a wave pool, water slides and toddler pool in a tropical-theme environment. Unlike smaller indoor water parks, Castaway Bay also has a water roller coaster and two giant 50-person whirlpool spas.

A chain indoor water park, CoCo Key Water Resort has two Ohio locations -- one just east of Columbus in Newark and the other in Cincinnati. Like many of CoCo Key's locations, both Ohio resorts have traditional water slides, raft water slides and toddler and children's activity pools. Groups, families or couples can reserve private cabanas. Two unusual offerings of this Caribbean-theme water park are a water basketball court and a "Dip In Theater" where guests can watch a show from their seats in a shallow pool.
