Indoor water parks offer splashing excitement year-round. According to WisDells.com, the first indoor water park was built in Wisconsin Dells. Indoor water parks continue to grow in number; the Dells is home to more than 20. Many indoor parks are connected to resorts that offer accommodations, restaurants and a host of other amenities.
Great Wolf Lodge offers water activities for all ages. Lodge guests can slide in the dark at Wolf Lodge's 436-foot enclosed slide or swirl down Howlin' Tornado, a six-story funnel. The first indoor competitive mat racer water slide, Mountain Edge Raceway, is located at Great Wolf. Toddlers can play in the zero-depth-entry Raccoon Lagoon and slide down the two kiddie slides. The park also offers a lazy river and a four-story treehouse water fort.
When you need a break from playing in the water, relax in one of Wolf Lodge's suites. Wolf Lodge offers accommodations for two to 14 guests. The lodge also has two restaurants, a spa and a kids' spa.

Guests of the Polynesian Water Park Resort can enjoy a 38,000-square-foot indoor water park. The park features a two-story water slide, a two-story tube slide, a lazy river and the Water Factory, a two-story play area. The resort also features indoor water basketball. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the resort also offers a 200,000-square-foot outdoor water park that includes a three-story tube slide and the 40-foot Mighty Buccaneer Pirate Ship.
The Polynesian offers guests six accommodation options all of which include a snack refrigerator, a microwave oven and an in-room safe. The resort also features the Aloha Bar and Grill, a fitness center and a game center.

Chula Vista Resort is home to Los Rios, an 80,000-square-foot indoor water park. According to the resort's website, Chula Vista offers the world's fastest water roller coaster. Guests at the resort can also twist through the Rio Rapids Action River or race on the Matador Mat Race. Kids can climb through Mount Montezuma's Mayan Temple, an interactive play area. Chula Vista also offers an outdoor park, which is home to The Cyclone, the tallest water slide in North America, according to the website.
Chula Vista offers many accommodation options, including condominiums, suites and theme rooms. The resort also has dining options, a spa and a golf course.
