Harsh, snowy winters in Milwaukee do not have to put a damper on children enjoying water parks all year-round. In and around Milwaukee there are a number of indoor water parks with large pools, water slides and lazy rivers. Though only one lies within city limits, there are other indoor water parks within an hour of Milwaukee.
Hilton City Center, in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, is home to Paradise Landing. This water park is free for visitors staying at the Hilton. Others who are not staying at the hotel can purchase day passes to swim. Water cannons, Lily Pad Walk, a kiddie pool and therepeutic spa are just a few of the features at Paradise Landing. Water slides are up to three stories tall. The Cabana Cove serves snacks, as well.
