Many Christian resorts offer summer camps and mission camps for Christian children and youth. Laurel Ridge, a Camp, Conference and Retreat Center, offers weekend and week-long camps for children and youth from pre-junior high to senior high. The Center also offers mission camps, which allow youth to serve local families and organizations by completing work projects. New Life Camp in Raleigh is a Bible Study camp that offers day camps. These camps require attending only during the day. Week-long overnight camps also are available.
