The Regency Center holds three different venues--all will play different music and have different vibes. The center can hold up to 2,000 people, so potential guests should expect a grand party. The event starts at 9 p.m. and rages on until 2 in the morning. Open bar tickets cost $60 as of May 2010. As the big day gets closer and closer, so will the ticket prices. The yearly Gordon Biersch New Year's Eve party takes place on the Embarcadero waterfront in the historical Hills Bros Coffee Building. It is a private event and is closed off to the general public. Those who opt for a pre-sale ticket will pay $125 per head. There are only a limited amount of these tickets available, however. Guests will have a wide selection of Gordon Biersch specialty beers as well as choice hors d'oeuvres.

The classic City Hall in San Francisco boasts Spanish-style architecture with an American twist. In the front you will find the rotunda, which is home to the staircase connecting to the marble floor. Second floor of the hall is home to VIP tables and a bar station for guests. The north-light court is home to the second dance floor. There are eight fully stocked bars, so guests will be anything but thirsty--regardless of where they are. The music of choice here is hip-hop, and various courts will be spinning variations all night.
