Kids Activities in Rhode Island

Nestled in a nook between Massachusetts and Connecticut, Rhode Island is a child's wonderland, offering numerous activities designed specifically for kids. During the summer months, the children can play along the near 400 miles of coastline. When the weather starts to chill, there are plenty of parks, zoos, museums and theaters to visit. Children will get a chance to learn about the arts, history, animals of all species and locals, and even get hands-on experience with science.

  1. Providence Children's Museum

    • With a motto of "come play, come learn," the Providence Children's Museum allows children to do just that when they visit. In addition to its regular exhibits, there are a number of special events offered through the week.
