  1. Georgia Apple Festival

    • Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains, you'll find Ellijay, Georgia, home to the Georgia Apple Festival. With the apple harvest season running from late August to December, the Georgia Apple Festival rolls out the welcome mat for tourists and residents alike. Local varieties of apples, including Gala, Mutsu and Fuji, can be purchased, as can homemade apple butter, apple pies and apple cider. With over 300 vendors, an antique car show and a parade, the Georgia Apple Festival has something for everyone. Driving to the festival itself can be mesmerizing, as it coincides with the fall color change throughout the area.

    Cherry Blossom Festival

    • With approximately 300,000 Yoshino cherry trees, Macon, Georgia, is recognized as the Cherry Blossom Capital of the World. Each year in March, the cherry trees blossom and cover the area with a spectacular pink landscape, and each year the area celebrates this beauty with the Cherry Blossom Festival. Street parties, hot-air balloon rides and an annual parade keep spectators and participants entertained. Other events, such as The Diamond Ball Dance, International Food Fair and fashion show, are topped off in grand style with a fireworks show concluding the festival.

    Georgia Peach Festival

    • Home to the World's Largest Peach Cobbler, the Georgia Peach Festival is held annually in Peach County, GA. The festival serves as a celebration of both the State's peach industry and peach growers. Georgia is third in the nation when it comes to peach production. Food and beverage vendors are on hand with both typical festival food and various peach products. Craft vendors sell their goods while children and adults alike enjoy the amusement rides. The Georgia Peach Festival also hosts an annual golf tournament and 5K run in conjunction with the festival.
