Tinseltown USA is a large multiplex theater in the town of Gates, N.Y., just a few miles west of the city of Rochester. Besides 16 movie screens, Tinseltown also includes restaurants, an arcade and an IMAX theater. Just a few blocks west of Tinseltown on Buffalo Road, Agatina's Restaurant serves Italian and Continental cuisine. The family-owned restaurant has a casual, elegant atmosphere with large tables for group events and intimate tables for two. Bill Gray's is an upstate New York-area hamburger chain with more than a dozen locations, including one just east of Tinseltown. Established in the 1930s, Bill Gray's was present before the major fast food chains appeared. The casual, counter-service dining room features a retro theme, and the restaurant serves its signature cheeseburgers on fresh-baked rolls, along with hot dogs, french fries, sandwiches, chicken wings and a fish fry. Dessert options include homemade cookies and frozen custard. All of Bill Gray's menu options can be ordered to-go, or diners can call ahead with orders for faster service.

Located two miles west of Tinseltown, Rohrbach Brewing Co. is a restaurant and brewpub with a casual bar atmosphere. Diners can also make use of the outdoor patio during the summer season. The menu consists of classic bar appetizers, such as buffalo wings, fried calamari and onion rings, plus salads and soups. A special German menu contains entrees such as potato pancakes, schnitzel and bratwurst. Other specialties include barbecue shrimp, chicken Marsala and an apricot-glazed salmon. There is also a children's menu, plus burgers, sandwiches and wraps. Rohrbach's bar has more than a dozen microbrew ales and lagers on tap. It has been honored by the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle for "best local beer" on several occasions. Beer enthusiasts can also visit Rohrbach's brew site in downtown Rochester for a tour of the brewery facilities.
