Wildwood, New Jersey, sits on a barrier island. It is composed of five distinct municipalities, North Wildwood and Wildwood Crest being the quieter sections with fewer bars and more family-oriented businesses. A younger crowd flocks to Wildwood in the summer for the town's long boardwalk--with water parks, roller coasters and games--as well as the well-kept beaches.
