Summers in Las Vegas can reach a blistering 106 degrees Fahrenheit; even the winters are temperate enough to entice visitors out of their jeans and into a pool. With 18 of the 20 largest hotels in the United States, it's no surprise that Las Vegas has a wide array of unique and fun pools to cool off in. Many pools at Las Vegas hotels are family friendly, but for those looking for an adult experience, topless European style pools are frequently offered as well, for a cover charge.
After Trip Advisor named them the Premier Pool Experience in 2006, Mandalay Bay poured even more money into their 11-acre pool area. The Beach at Mandalay Bay offers a wave pool, waterslides, a lazy river, three regular pools, and 2,700 tons of sand, in addition to various hot tubs. You can even rent a cabana. For guests who are 21-years old and up, Mandalay Bay also offers the Moorea Beach Club, which offers spa treatments, European style bathing and personalized attendants.
One of two pools rated 5 stars by Vegas Hotel Pools, the pool at Four Seasons offers two places to swim--one large pool for adults and a wading pool for children. Guests can relax in the shade with no need to rent a cabana, a rarity at Vegas hotels. The Four Seasons staff waits nearby to offer swimmers iced drinks, fresh fruit or an Evian spritz. It is a laid-back, quiet pool atmosphere. Guests at The Four Seasons are also offered access to The Beach at Mandalay Bay, though the offer does not extend both ways.
Also rated 5 stars on Vegas Hotel Pools, the Backyard Pool at the Red Rock Casino covers three acres of land featuring one large, family-friendly pool with a fountain in the center. In the shallow depths of the pool, the staff has placed lounge chairs so that guests can climb in, lie down and escape the Vegas heat. For those looking to spend time with only adults, the Cherry Nightclub hosts a pool party for guests who are 21-years old and up. With underwater speakers and cabanas available for rental, the pool at Red Rock Casino is a great place to cool off.
The Mirage has two large pools on islands lined with palm trees. They're connected by lagoons, making this a beautiful place to relax, swim around, and escape the sun. The waterfalls and rock coves will fascinate children and adults alike. Bare, an adult pool, opened in 2007 and offers topless sunbathing for men and women, as well as amenities like snacks, drinks and towels.
At the Hard Rock Café, they've managed to combine swimming and gambling. In a matter of minutes, you can go from relaxing in the water to trying your luck at one of their swim-up blackjack tables under the Palapa Hut. The beaches at the Hard Rock are covered in sand and music is played via an underwater speaker system, offering fresh tunes even when you're deep in the cool water.
