Williamsville, a roughly one-square-mile village close to Buffalo, New York, is located partly in the Town of Amherst and partly in the Town of Cheektowaga. The village boasts historical and architectural landmarks, such as the Williamsville Water Mills and the Village Meeting House, which was the church of the Disciples of Jesus Christ in 1835. The Eagle House has been in business since 1827. Williamsville was a stopping place for travelers; when the Eagle House first opened, it offered a bed for 10 cents and a meal for 25 cents. The historic character of the establishment has been preserved over the years.
The restaurant was named in Bon Appetit magazine as one of “The Best Restaurants in America” in February 2008. It is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and features a wide selection of appetizers, from onion rings and buffalo wings to a variety of seafood starters, plus soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas, steaks, seafood and Yankee pot roast. A children’s menu is available, and desserts include homemade pies and cakes.
The Eagle House can accommodate private parties for up to 70 guests. The restaurant has a patio and covered deck for warm-weather dining.

The Creekview Restaurant is located in a historic home on the banks of Ellicott Creek. The building housed General Winfield Scott's headquarters during the War of 1812.
The restaurant offers American cuisine for lunch and dinner, seven days a week, with a wide range of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches and entrees that include seafood, chicken, steak and pasta. In addition, the Creekview Restaurant has a selection of small plates to accommodate smaller appetites. It provides catering for lunch and dinner and offers outdoor dining on the patio, which is situated next to the creek.
