Being on a cruise often means celebrating a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary. Carnival Cruise Lines offers services such as tuxedo rental, flowers, cakes and more to help passengers celebrate special occasions. To rent a tuxedo aboard a Carnival ship for your own special occasion, follow a few easy steps.
Visit the Carnival website to see the choices for tuxedo rentals. From the Carnival home page, click on drop-down menu "Ships & Life Onboard" and choose the option "Onboard Gifts & Services." Choose the "Formal Wear Rentals" option from the menu on the left-hand side of the page. The Formal Wear Rentals page lists all the choices for tuxedo rentals, along with the pricing for each tuxedo and package. Several styles and colors of tuxedos are available for rent, as shown on the Carnival website.
Measure and record your arm and leg length, torso, waist and chest for your tuxedo measurements. Help is available online for taking your own measurements at the website eTuxedo. A local seamstress or men's store can also help with determining your measurements.
Call the Carnival Bon Voyage staff to place your tuxedo rental order. As of 2010, the Carnival Bon Voyage staff can be reached at 1-800-522-7648. Have your tuxedo measurements and credit card available when calling, along with the sail date and cabin number. Tuxedo rentals can be ordered from the time you book up to one week before your sail date, according to the Carnival website. Tuxedo rentals can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the sail date for a full refund.
Pick up your tuxedo once on board the ship. Depending on the ship, tuxedo rentals are either delivered to your stateroom or can be picked up at the Formalities store aboard the ship. When ordering, the Bon Voyage staff will let you know where your tux will be. The tuxedo rentals are yours to use for the entire length of your cruise and must returned on the final day of the cruise. Tuxedos must be returned in good condition and fees may be imposed for lost or damaged items.
