Look up the name of the ship you plan to travel on while on vacation. Go the Carnival Cruise website and scroll over "Ships and Life On-board," click on the "Fun Ships" link and choose one of the many cruises Carnival offers. (See Resource 1)
Enter the name of your ship in the Sail WX website. Go to the menu and scroll over the "ship tracker " icon. Choose the "Find Ship By Name" link. Type in the name of your cruise ship and click search. The system might give you a list. There are many ships that share the same name. Carnival ships are listed. You can also choose "cruise ships" under the same link and the system will give you a list of cruise ships currently sailing.
Track your cruise ship. The tracking system will give you a map and the present location of the Carnival Cruise ship, along with its recent travels. You also will be able to check weather observations, tides and currents.
