Shore excursions are one of the best parts of cruising, but don't wait until you get on the ship to make reservations. Some of the most popular shore excursions fill up long before the cruise departs, so it's best to think about your excursions before you leave. Carnival offers an easy web-based tool to help you reserve shore excursions once you have booked and paid a deposit for your cruise.
Visit the Carnival website within 90 days of your departure date (see Resources). If you did not create a Carnival account when you booked your cruise, do so now. Enter your name and telephone number and create a password.
Enter your log-in information in the small blue box labeled "Member Login," and click "Submit."
Click on "My Reservations" once you have logged into the site. The cruise you have booked will be displayed.
Click on the link called "Book Shore Excursions Now" and browse all shore excursions or search by excursion type. When you find an excursion you want to book, click on the excursion name to review the details and price.
Click on "Book Now" to order the shore excursion. Enter your credit card information and billing address and click "Submit." Once confirmed, the shore excursion will be added to your cruise detail page under "My Reservations" and an order confirmation number will be displayed.
Make a note of the cut-off date listed next to each of your shore excursions. If you wish to cancel, you must do so before that date. Simply click on "Modify My Shore Excursion Orders" on your My Reservation page, select "Cancel" next to the shore excursion and a refund will be issued to your credit card within 10 days.
Look for your shore excursion tickets once you get on board. The tickets will be delivered to your stateroom before you reach the first port.
