    Green River Fishing

    • No matter which type of campground you end up at in Green River, those with a penchant for fishing will find themselves in one of the nation's premier fly fishing areas. The Green River below the Flaming Forge Dam is full of rainbow and brown trout. Since the river flows through a steep walled canyon, access to the fishing areas is limited to just below the dam, Little Hole and Browns Park. All three locations are reachable by car. The other alternative is to take to the water in a rubber raft or drift boat, which may be the more scenic way to go anyway. Artificial flies or lures are required and catch and release is encouraged.
