What mode of transportation does Santa use in Holland?
In Holland, Santa is said to travel by steamboat. According to Dutch tradition, Santa Claus, known as Sinterklaas, arrives in the Netherlands by steamboat from Spain every year on the eve of December 5. He is accompanied by his helpers, the Zwarte Pieten, or Black Petes. They then travel the country, visiting different towns and cities to deliver presents to well-behaved children. On December 24, Sinterklaas returns to Spain, again by steamboat.
