Search for your preferred travel dates and airports on Kayak, a fare aggregator site that pools real time fare data and directs you to airlines' websites for your booking. Review the search results to get an idea of the current fare listings for your trip. Click the option in the upper left corner to view the fare history charts. Observe whether the fares are stable, on a downward trend or on an upward trend. Stable fares will likely go on sale and downward trending fares can continue to drop.
