How to Book a Seat on a Business Owned Jet or Airplane

Forget about the days of sitting in a cramped seat in Coach. Experience the luxuries of flying in a private business owned jet. Upgrading your Coach seat to Business Class cannot even come close to the regal solitude you will feel in a business jet. Only an elite few will be able to feel as though they own the vessel they are flying in as business jet seat prices are very high, of course. But if you can afford it, you won't regret doing it.

Instructions

    • 1

Hire an aircraft consultant. Since booking a seat on a private jet is no inexpensive task, the consultant will be able to lead you in the direction which best suits your needs.

    • 2

Tell your consultant you want to book a seat on a chartered flight. Be prepared to pay $1500 to $5000 depending on the jet. These prices represent a one-way ticket and do not include other surcharges, fees, and expenses such as catering and fuel. Two possible companies to look into are PrivatAir and Jet Aviation.

Choose the Fractional Share option if you are looking to fly more frequently on a business jet and want to feel like you actually own the jet. This option is like a time share system for planes. You can buy one sixteenth of the share (or 50 hours of flying time) for no less than $450,000. You will also be responsible for fees such as monthly management and maintenance.
