Carry liquids into the aircraft cabin in small quantities. The TSA limits passengers to a one-qt. clear plastic bag of 3-oz. or smaller bottles of liquids, gels and lotions.
All passengers must carry a government-issued photo ID to pass through security checkpoints at airports. Foreign nationals without a permanent residence card or other U.S.-issued ID must travel with their passport within the United States.
Remove your shoes, belts, cell phones and other metal items when crossing through the security checkpoint. Take your laptop and all other electronics out of your carry-on bag and put them through the X-ray machine separately.
Carry-on luggage is generally restricted to a size of 45 inches or less. The number of carry-ons allowed is determined by individual airlines, but the general rule of thumb is one piece of luggage and one personal item.
