Frankfurt, a city located in the heart of western Germany, is a transportation hub allowing travelers to connect easily to highways, railways and an airport. Nuremberg is a smaller city located in the Bavaria region of Germany, but it is centrally planned and easy to travel to and from. Traveling between these 2 cities is relatively easy, and booking a train ticket should be one of the first steps in planning your trip.
Go to the Rail Europe Web site (see Resources). Select the "Train Tickets & Schedules" option from the side menu bar on the left side of the page.
Enter "Frankfurt" and "Nuremberg" for your travel starting and destination points. Choose a one way or return ticket. Select the date and time of your departure, and if necessary your return. Enter the number of passengers for each category: adult, children, youth and senior.
Select your seating class option. There are 4 different seating options; 2 for first and second class each. Travel time is a little over 2 hours between Frankfurt and Nuremberg. First class options offer the most elegant and more expensive services.
Enter the full name, country of origin and age for each passenger. You can continue shopping to book additional tickets or proceed to checkout after completing this page.
Choose your shipping preference. Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee. Enter your shipping address, email address and your day time phone number. Input your departure date. Insert any promotional or savings codes.
Input your billing information, credit card data and billing address in the final step to booking your ticket. Then confirm your ticket and print out all validating information.
