A journey from Munich to Nuremberg takes just over an hour on Germany's high-speed inter-city express (ICE) train with no changes of train required. Both second and first class tickets are available on the ICE, while travelers can also take advantage of discounted ticket prices for children under the age of 15, while youngsters between birth and five-years-old enjoy further discounts.
Visit the German national Bahn (train) website at Bahn.com. Click on the German flag marked "Deutschland" to change the language of the text on the homepage and all subsequent pages to English by scrolling down and clicking on "UK/Ireland."
Type "Munich" or "Munchen" into the top box in the journey planner on the top left side of the screen. Type Nuremberg into the second box, immediately beneath the first one.
