Go to the Euro Railway Web site (see Resources). Insert "Frankfurt" and "Munich" into the Web site and train ticket destination box in the yellow menu section.
Select the type of ticket you would prefer. Choose from first class and second class options for adults and children passengers are available. Further, seat reservation options are also available. Note that only one option can be selected at a time, thus you will have to return to this page for additional selections.
Select the departure day, time and month from the drop down menu on the next page. Travel time from Frankfurt to Munich is about 3 1/2 hours depending on the rail service. Enter the number of tickets you would like to book for this selection. Select to add to your cart at the bottom of the page.
Note the total number of tickets in your shopping cart. If you need to add more tickets or ticket options, select the "Continue Shopping" box at the bottom of the page. If not, select your shipping preference. Free FedEx shipping is available for 3 to 4 day service, but expedited shipping is also available at a reasonable cost.
Note any additional fees. Sometimes rail protection plans and/or premier train fee services are added for your protection and optimal service. Enter any promotional savings codes you may have. Proceed to checkout.
Register an account. Enter your email address to create a custom identification and create a password.
Finish booking your ticket from Frankfurt to Munich by entering the required personal information, shipping address and billing information. You should receive a confirmation email and/or identification number. Print and keep for future reference.
