Flying coach can really save you money when traveling. However, you may get stuck sitting next to a crying baby or a non-stop talker and end up feeling claustrophobic and frazzled. Being so close to other passengers in a limited space can mean that it's difficult to relax and get some sleep. Here are a few pointers to help you feel like you're in first class.
Make a pit stop before boarding the plane. Nothing is worse than getting comfortable in your seat and then realizing that you have to go.
Drown out the noise. You may want to use earplugs to do this or listen to headphones with white noise or soothing music.
Support your neck. A travel pillow is the remedy for neck cramps due to falling asleep in an odd position.
Stowe carry-ons in the overhead bin. Only keep with you what are necessities for the flight. This will provide you with the most leg room possible.
