The restaurant is the second location of the downtown Indianapolis steakhouse, which has served the city since the 1950s. The signature entree, the Izzy-style New York strip, is a 10-ounce portion rolled in cracked peppercorns, seared and then presented in an orange-brandy sauce. Chops, chicken, seafood and wood-fired pizzas are also available on the menu. The french fries have previously won awards from "Indianapolis Monthly" for being the best in the city.
