The Fayetteville Regional Airport is the only open-to-the-public airport in Fayetteville, North Carolina. It offers travelers a daily choice of flights to three U.S. metropolitan destinations. Travelers to Fayetteville must also route their flights through one of those three cities. Three separate airlines provide the flights to the respective cities.

    • Fayetteville Regional Airport offers flights to Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth and Charlotte, N.C. Atlantic Southeast Airlines offers a Delta Connection to Atlanta. American Eagle Airlines flies to Dallas/Fort Worth. And U.S. Airways Express provides the flights to Charlotte. Atlanta is the airport's most frequent destination. It offers about 10 flights to Atlanta per day, on average. It offers approximately six flights to Charlotte each day and two flights to Dallas/Fort Worth. Flight times start around 6 a.m. and end around 8 p.m. Flights to Atlanta last about an hour. Flights to Charlotte last about 40 minutes, and flights to Dallas/Fort Worth last about two hours and 40 minutes.

    • Fayetteville Regional Airport has one terminal and two runways. The terminal offers travelers food and vending machines, a shoeshine service, a video game room and wireless Internet access. Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and Alamo/National offer rental cars at the airport, and taxi service is also available.
