Look on the AirTrain map once you get to the train boarding area. You will see a list of what airlines operate out of each of the eight terminals. Next, look at the lighted reader board above the doors that open to the train. You will see doors on both sides of the boarding area where the trains will arrive. The reader board flashes which terminals the train will service. You want to get on the correct train that will take you to your terminal fastest.

Board the correct train when it arrives, and make sure you know when to get off the train. There will be another flashing reader board inside the train telling you what terminal is next. Depart the train at your terminal. The train will let you off in front of the terminal, so you will have to go through security to have access to the boarding gates.
