What weight can child ride in front seat Pennsylvania?
According to Pennsylvania state law, children under the age of four must be secured in a federally approved child restraint device in the back seat of the vehicle. Children who are at least four years old or taller than forty inches can either use a child restraint device or use the seat belt in both the front seat or the back seat of a vehicle. All children under eight years must be seated in the back seat if a back seat is available while a vehicle is in motion.
