Three-day Cruises to the Bahamas from Florida

Many cruises sail from Florida ports each year, visiting destinations throughout the Caribbean.     • The Fun Ships of Carnival offer three-night cruises to the Bahamas from Florida. The Carnival Imagination and Carnival Sensation visit Nassau for 24 hours and spend one full day at sea. The Carnival Imagination sails from Miami and the Carnival Sensation sails from Port Canaveral, near Orlando. These ships have more than 1,000 rooms and can accommodate more than 2,000 passengers.     Norwegian Cruise Line

    • Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Sky sails to the Bahamas on three-night cruises from Miami. The Norwegian Sky visits Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian's private island. Onboard amenities include 10 restaurants and 11 lounges, several pools and hot tubs, a fitness center, a sports court and entertainment by Second City comedy troupe. Great Stirrup Cay offers clear waters for swimming or snorkeling, parasailing, a barbeque on the beach, and miles of beach for relaxing.

    Royal Caribbean Cruise Line

    • Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas and Monarch of the Seas sail to the Bahamas from Miami and Port Canaveral, respectively. Both ships spend one day visiting Nassau and one day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's private island. The Majesty and Monarch can accommodate more than 2,700 passengers and feature a rock climbing wall, two pools and two whirlpools, a coffee shop, a day spa, a fitness center and several dining options. CocoCay offers an aquatic park, nature trails, snorkeling, wave runner rentals and hammocks for relaxing on the beach.
