Trans-Atlantic Cruises From Galveston to Barcelona

The Port of Galveston in Texas is the home-base to three cruise liners. One of these ships makes a transatlantic European voyage to Barcelona Spain. Royal Caribbean's transatlantic cruise is 14 nights and includes four ports of call and nine fun days at sea. The ship is the Voyager of the Seas. The Voyager offers passengers amenities including fitness courses, entertainment, restaurants and spa services.

This sailing of the Voyager of the Seas makes stops in Ponta Delgada, Azores; Malaga, Spain; Cartagena, Spain; and Barcelona, Spain. Accommodations aboard the Voyager of the seas include cozy interior rooms, ocean view rooms, balcony rooms and suites. The only difference between an interior and ocean view room is the window in the ocean view room that allows guests to have a view of the ocean. Balcony rooms are slightly larger than interior and ocean view rooms and include a sitting area as well as a private balcony with a table and two chairs. Suites are considerably larger, with living areas, bedroom areas, and feature a large bathroom with a jetted tub.

    Dining

    • Dining options onboard the Voyager of the Seas are traditional dining and "My Time" dining. The traditional dining option has an early seating and a late seating in the main dining room and dinner is served at the same time every evening. "My Time" dining allows guests to make reservations in the dining room for dinner anytime between 6:00 and 9:30 p.m. The Voyager of the Seas also offers several specialty restaurants, including Portofino, an Italian restaurant with an intimate setting. Vini d'Italia serves a four-course Italian dinner complimented by fine Italian wines. The Mystery Dinner Theater serves guests dinner where they can eat and solve a crime at the same time, as the cast of the Theater creates a mystery that needs solving. The Windjammer Café serves a buffet all day long on the Lido Deck starting at breakfast and ending with the themed midnight buffet. For early birds, Latte-tudes serves coffee and cappuccinos to take with you on your morning walk around the main deck. Johnny Rocket's is a 50s diner that serves hamburgers and other All-American food.

    Entertainment

    • Each evening during your evening turndown service, you stateroom attendant will leave an itinerary for the following day in your room. The itinerary outlines all that is happening aboard the Voyager of Seas the following day. The cruise director offers dance classes, yoga classes, bingo games and pool side contests during fun days at sea. For children, the Adventure Youth program is available and provides childcare services, where your children will have the opportunity to meet other children their age during supervised activities. The Voyager of the Seas has a full-service casino with blackjack, poker and slot machines. For adults, there is a spa with treatments such as facials, massages, manicures and pedicures. On the main deck of the Voyager there is a rock climbing wall, an ice-skating rink and golf simulators where you can work on your golf swing. Each night after dinner is over, Vegas-style shows are performed in the lounge, with singing and dancing. The main deck features two pools and two hot tubs.
