Two Carnival ships call Galveston home. The Carnival Ecstasy and the Carnival Conquest offer cruises ranging from four to seven days. The Ecstasy has four- and five-day sailings from Galveston. The four-day cruise makes one stop in Cozumel while the five day cruise visits Cozumel and Progreso, Yucatan. The Conquest has two different seven-day itineraries: one stops at Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, while the other visits Nassau, Freeport and Key West.
Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas calls Galveston home, offering mostly seven-day cruises to the western Caribbean. There are two seven-day itineraries. The fist stops at Roatan, Costa Maya and Cozumel, while the second visits Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Montego Bay. The Voyager also offers a trans-Atlantic itinerary with stops at Nassau; Ponta Delgada, Azores; Malaga, Spain; Cartagena, Spain. The cruise ends in Barcelona, Spain.
The Port of Galveston has been serving major cruise lines since 2000. It is located near the historic waterfront, which features historic buildings, ships and museums. Galveston Island itself is a major tourist attraction with 32 miles of beaches. Many of the area hotels offer shuttle service to the port, which also has a long term parking lot.
