How to Send Gifts to a Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship

Royal Caribbean is one of the many cruise lines that offer you the opportunity to send a gift directly to the passenger's stateroom. These gifts can be scheduled to arrive on a specific day of the guests' stay, or before their arrival. No matter what the occasion, Royal Caribbean has a choice of items. These categories range from stateroom decorations to edible treats or adventure gear for cruise activities. Whenever possible, order well in advance.

Instructions

Visit the Royal Caribbean website to see the gifts available for purchase (see Resources). Once you've decided on the category of gift, you can dive further into the site to find the right gift.

Gather the appropriate information before finalizing your order. You need the party's reservation number, name and ship name. Take note of the ordering deadlines for Royal Caribbean. For example, the cutoff for weekday departures (Tues.-Fri.) is 7 p.m. EST the day before sailing and 7 p.m. EST the Friday before sailing for weekend departures (Sat.-Mon.). After the cutoff, you can send orders until the second day of sailing (with some exceptions), but you will pay a $10 late fee. To avoid any delivery issues, order in advance especially if you want the gift to be sent on a specific day, such as a birthday or anniversary.

Order your gift by phone, fax or mail. As of 2010, you cannot order online. Once you've decided on the right gift, order by calling 800-722-5443. You can also download the PDF order form and fax it to 800-722-5710 or mail it to the address specified on your form, based on the ship's departure location.
