How to Enjoy a Royal Caribbean Cruise

Royal Caribbean International, founded in 1968, operates 21 ships that sail throughout the Caribbean, Europe, Mexico, Alaska and other destinations around the world. The line's newest additions, Liberty of the Seas and Freedom of the Seas, are the largest passenger vessels in the world. Royal Caribbean offers many unique features, several of which are detailed below.

Enjoy a cocktail and the view in the Windjammer Cafe. The Windjammer Cafe is Royal Caribbean's signature lounge, located on the top deck and offering a sweeping 360 degree view of the ocean below. It's a favorite meeting place on all of the ships.

Relax in a whirlpool overlooking the sea. The newest Royal Caribbean ships feature two whirlpools cantilevered over either side of the ship, offering spectacular, 180-degree views.

Try your skill with the FlowRider. One of the most popular features on the newer Royal Caribbean ships is the FlowRider, a on-board surfing simulator that gives guests an opportunity to learn how to surf right in the middle of the ocean.
