Go to the Royal Caribbean website. Scroll down the page until you see the heading "Ready to Book." Under this heading, select "Reserve a Cruise Online."
Click the "Advanced Search" link on the page. On the next page titled, Advanced Cruise Search, use the drop down menus to enter the criteria for the type of cruise you would like to book. Enter as much data as you can including dates, destinations and price range. This will help narrow down your search results. Or if you prefer to leave your options open, include less search criteria.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and check any of the "Exclusive Rate" options that apply to you. These include travelers: above the age of 55; in the United States or Canadian military; or in United States or Canadian law enforcement.
After entering all of your criteria, select "Search."
Scroll through the provided search items to identify the cruise you would like to book. Make sure to pay attention to details such as the departure port, destination and ports, length and price. Additionally, clicking on the "Pricing and Details" icon will allow you to access more information about the trip and the ship.
Click "Reserve Now" once you have found the cruise you would like to book. On the following page, enter your departure information. Use the drop down boxes to select the date you would like to sail and the number of travelers in your party.
Under the third section, select whether or not you would also like to make flight arrangements.
Once you have entered all of the information, select "Save Changes and Continue."
Look at the room types available on the cruise. The types are divided into four categories: Deluxe/Suites, Balcony, Outside and Interior. Select "Show Categories" next to each category to view the specific types of rooms available.
Click the circle next to the room type you would like to book. Once you do this, the price information for you cruise on the right side of your screen will update to reflect your selection. Review the information and select "Continue."
Click the specific room you would like to book. This includes the room number and location on the ship. Select "Show Deck Plan" to receive a visual of the ship and the room location. Click "Purchase" after making your selection.
Log in if you have an existing Royal Caribbean account. This will allow you to import information rather than filling out the fields again. If you do not have an account, select "Continue as a Guest" and scroll down to the "Guest Details" portion of the page and enter the information for the people who will take the trip. Required information includes any field marked with an asterisk. Make sure to complete this information as you will not be able to continue your booking if you do not.
Scroll to the "Dining Options" category and select your dining preference. Scroll down again and select any additional options you would like to include. Notice your price description on the right will update again to reflect these changes.
Scroll down and click "Purchase."
Look over the information you have entered for your reservation. If correct, select "Purchase" to continue. If incorrect, select "Cancel" at the bottom of the page or "Modify" located inside your price description. Either of these options will completely delete your reservation and cause you to have to restart.
Enter your payment and billing information to complete your reservation. Make sure to complete all fields that include an asterisk as this is required information.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and view the "Cancellation Charges and Timetable." This informs you of the time frame in which you can cancel your reservation and the corresponding penalty.
Scroll down again and click the "Terms and Conditions" link. After reading these items, select the box indicating you have done so and select "Purchase" to book your cruise.
