Carnival has two ships sailing out of Tampa--the Carnival Inspiration and the Carnival Legend. The Carnival Inspiration offers a four and five day cruise to Grand Cayman and Cozumel, while the Carnival Legend provides a week-long cruise with stops at Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize and Roatan Island. The Carnival Inspiration is a fantasy class ship featuring numerous pools and water slides, as well as an atrium plaza, spa, shops, bars, restaurants, lounges and art and photo galleries. The Carnival Inspiration also features an adults-only retreat and age specific programs for children. The Carnival Legend is a spirit class ship with restaurants, shops, lounges featuring live entertainment acts, nightclubs, a piano bar, dance club, casino and Club 02 for teens 15 to 17 years old.
Holland America's cruise ship, the Ryndam, sails from Tampa to the Caribbean on a seven day cruise with ports in Costa Maya, Santo Tomas De Castilla, Belize and Mahogany Bay. In the winter, the Ryndam celebrates the holiday season and brings in the New Year on the Caribbean Sea. Holland America has over 130 years of cruising experience with destinations worldwide. All ships are held to their "Signature of Excellence," a standard of premium service. The Ryndam is an elegant, spacious ship, featuring a three-story atrium and art dating back to the 17th century. They offer five-star dining, themed bars, cafes, lounges featuring varied entertainment, nightclubs, a spa and salon, as well as Club HAL for children 3 to 12 years old and The Loft and The Oasis for teens.
Norwegian Cruise Line is known for its "freestyle cruising"--a relaxed and casual atmosphere. As of 2011, the Norwegian Star will be sailing from Tampa to the Caribbean. Cruises will be two to five days in length with stops in Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize and Roatan Island. On board the Norwegian Star you will find bars, grills, buffets, casual and fine dining cuisine, a spa, sport courts, golf driving nets, walking paths, a casino, a theater, shops, a library, pools, a video arcade and designated child and teen areas.
Royal Caribbean's cruise ship, the Radiance of the Seas, sails out of Tampa to Mexico with destination stops on resort beaches in Cozumel and Costa Maya. This cruise also offers the opportunity to visit the Mayan ruins. As of 2011, the Jewel of the Seas (a new cruise ship) will also sail out of Tampa to the Caribbean on four and five day cruises. The Royal Caribbean's Radiance offers worldwide cuisine and wines, coffee shops, solariums, glass walled and windowed views, indoor/outdoor country clubs, casinos, pools, sport courts, a 150-foot rock climbing wall and the "Adventure Ocean Youth Program."
