Itineraries departing from Tampa are primarily western Caribbean. The shortest cruises are four-night trips, available on both ships, and Cozumel is the only port of call visited in that itinerary. Five-night cruises on both ships stop at Cozumel and Costa Maya. Seven-night cruises take place on the Radiance of the Seas and visit Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Belize. Royal Caribbean offers a 15-night cruise through the Panama Canal on the Radiance, with stops at Cartagena, Colombia; Colon, Panama; Puntarenas, Costa Rica; Puerto Cuetzal, Guatemala; Acapulco, and Cabo San Lucas. The cruise ends in San Diego.
The Radiance of the Seas and the Jewel of the Seas are identical, two of the four Radiance Class ships in the fleet. Each ship weighs 90,000 tons and each can accommodate 2,500 passengers. Passengers will enjoy specialty restaurants, a rock climbing wall, themed bars, a coffee house, pool tables, a golf simulator and a fitness center/spa. About 70 percent of the cabins have balconies, while the Royal Suite exceeds 1,000 square feet.
The Port of Tampa, Florida's largest port, is conveniently located 10 miles from Tampa International Airport. It is easily accessible from Interstate 4. Royal Caribbean uses Terminal 3. Channelside Bay Plaza and the Florida Aquarium and are within walking distance of Terminal 3. There is a large parking garage across from the terminal, changing $12 per day as of April 2010.
