Features of the Inspiration include the Carnival Water Works water park, a 9-hole mini-golf course, the Serenity Adult-only deck area, a spa, art gallery and three kids lounges. Four- and five-day cruises are available out of Tampa, Florida, to the Western Caribbean. The Carnival Paradise is the same size, with the same passenger and crew capacity as the Inspiration, though it features the 3-deck high Twist & Shout water slide, instead of a water park, and offers live entertainment productions and a casino. The Paradise also leaves Tampa for four- and five-day cruises to the Western Caribbean.
Royal Caribbean International has two ships departing from Tampa, Florida: the "Radiance of the Seas" and the "Jewel of the Seas." The "Radiance of the Seas" is a 952-foot long ship with a 2,501 passenger capacity. The Radiance features a 10-deck glass atrium, glass elevators facing the ocean and a large number of outside-facing cabins. Passengers can attend theater and live music performances, participate in Karaoke, dance in the ship's nightclubs and lounges and play in blackjack or poker tournaments. "Jewel of the Seas" is one of the newest ships in Royal Caribbean's fleet, having had its maiden voyage in 2004. The Jewel is 962 feet long, with the same passenger capacity and most of the same features as the Radiance. The Jewel, like the Radiance, includes a rock-climbing wall, volleyball courts and a lounge with self-leveling pool tables. Both ships offer cruises leaving Tampa for Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico.
The Norwegian Star sails for a 7-day cruise from Tampa to the Mexican Riviera. In 2011, the ship will also sail from Tampa to the Caribbean. The Star has nine bars, 14 dining options, a large spa and a casino. A 965-foot long vessel, with a 2,348 passenger capacity and a 1,065 crew, the ship also features entertainment by the Second City comedy group, teen discos, kid's centers, a sports court and several pools.
Holland America offers a six-, seven-, eight-, 14- and 15-day round-trip cruises from Tampa to the Caribbean on it's msRyndam. The msRyndam also departs from Tampa for one-way 21-day cruises to Spain and Normandy, and one-way 22-day and 42-day cruises through the Mediterranean. The ship features musical productions, a casino, movie theater, yoga, a spa and shore excursions.
