The Disney Wonder offers two theaters. The Buena Vista is a movie theater that shows first-run movies, including 3-D, while the Walt Disney Theatre is live performance venue that hosts productions like Disney Dreams, a musical featuring many Disney characters, and Toy Story: The Musical.
It wouldn't be Disney without the characters. Cruise goers can interact with Disney characters like Mickey Mouse and friends, including the princesses and the characters from movies like "Lilo and Stitch", "Peter Pan" and "Pirates of the Caribbean." The characters can be met in the Walt Disney Theatre, atrium, Goofy's Pool and the Oceaneer Club. Appearances are scheduled throughout the day; passengers should check daily newsletters to see which characters will be available at what times.
The Disney Wonder features several clubs and lounges, ranging from Cove Café, an adult-only lounge, to WaveBands, an all-ages club offering games and activities with décor designed to look as if the club were inside a giant radio. The Disney Wonder also offers the Promenade Lounge, an Art Deco snack bar, Diversions, a sports pub and Cadillac Lounge, a piano bar for adults only.
The ship offers a variety of physical activities, including three pools. Goofy's Pool is a family pool with two whirlpool spas, Mickey's Pool is a children-only pool and Quiet Cove is an adults-only pool with a more subdued environment. The ship's fitness center offers an open-air track for jogging and walking, treadmills, ellipticals, yoga classes, weight machines, personal trainers and the use of iPod shuffles to aid workouts. Sporting activities on the Disney Wonder include Ping Pong, shuffleboard, volleyball and soccer. To help cruise goers unwind, the spa's menu includes massages, a sauna, hair appointments, manicures and pedicures.
The ship offers nine restaurants ranging from Triton's, which serves continental cuisine with a French flair, to Pluto's Dog House, which serves hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken. Italian cuisine can be found in Palo, while Parrot Cay offers Caribbean island grill specialties. Pinocchio's serves pizza, and Animator's Palate is a dinner and a show restaurant, where dinner consists of Pacific Rim foods, such as smoked salmon and veal chops, while the show explores Disney storytelling, bringing the art on the walls to life.
Activities for children range from the Oceaneer Club, where kids can dress up and play games, to Aloft, the teens-only hangout, which features video games, music and computers. Flounder's Reef Nursery is a daycare that entertains children three months to three years, while Studio Sea is a family entertainment center where families can sing, dance, enjoy live entertainment and play games. Quarter Masters arcade offers video games and air hockey.
