Carnival Cruises Out of Galveston, TX

The port at Galveston, Texas, is situated on Galveston Bay, which, according to the Port of Galveston, is 30 minutes by ship to the ocean. The Port of Galveston handles commercial ships as well as cruise ships, including the Carnival ships Ecstasy and Conquest. These ships depart for cruises from Galveston all year round.
  1. Four-Day Caribbean

    • The Carnival Ecstasy has four-day Western Caribbean sailings all year. The cruise begins on Thursday and ends on Monday, with two days at sea and one day in port at Cozumel, Mexico.

      Once in Cozumel, you can choose numerous excursions, including a jungle ATV trip, scuba diving at all levels of expertise, a submarine ride, kayaking, snorkeling and even a motorcycle tour of the area. This cruise departs twice each month.

    Five-Day Caribbean

    • You can also choose a five-day Western Caribbean cruise on the Ecstasy from Galveston, departing on Saturday and returning on Thursday. There are two days at sea with visits to Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico.

    Seven-Day Eastern Caribbean

    • The Conquest can also take you on a seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruise, with three days at sea and shore visits to Nassau and Freeport in the Bahamas along with Key West, Florida. Shore trips in these ports include local tours, jeep trips, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing and biking.

      Depending on the date of your cruise, the Conquest trip may take the ports of call in the opposite order, starting with Key West.
