On your 5-night round trip cruise from Mobile on the Carnival Elation, you will make stops at the ports of Progreso, Yucatan, Mexico and Cozumel, Mexico along with two fun days at sea; you may choose the other 5-night voyage, which offers three fun days at sea and stops in Cozumel and Calica.
During your fun days at sea you can utilize all that the Elation has to offer, from swimming pools to the casino to shopping in the main atrium. Camp Carnival provides supervised children's activities all day long, so mom and dad can book spa treatments or soak up the sun on the Serenity Deck, the adults-only deck overlooking the pool. Guests have the choice of interior staterooms, ocean view staterooms and suite staterooms aboard the Elation. Shore excursions offered at your Mexican destinations include para sailing, snorkeling, scuba-diving and jet-ski rentals.
If you choose to depart from Mobile on the 4-night Elation voyage, you get to choose from two itineraries. Both offer two fun days at sea, with one docking in Calica and the other in Cozumel. Cozumel is a small island off the coast of Cancun and Playa Del Carmen, where you can participate in water activities, such as jet-skiing or parasailing.Calica is located three miles from Playa Del Carmen on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, near the Xcaret nature park.
Throughout your cruise, grab a bite to eat at one of Elation's many dining facilities. Aside from the main dining rooms, Tiffany's is the Lido Deck buffet, which is open all day and features a sushi bar. Room service is available 24 hours per day in your guestroom. After dinner, you can take in a show at the Mikado Lounge, where Carnival performers put on a Vegas-style show for cruise guests each night.
The Elation sails out of Mobile on longer cruises as well. You can try one of two 7-night Western Caribbean cruises. One trip offers stops in Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel; the other offers stops in Cozumel, Belize and Roatan.
When you aren't docked at one of these tropical Caribbean islands you'll spend 3 days aboard the Elation, enjoying spa treatments, dining and shows. The Elation's water park and 9-hole miniature golf course keep guests entertained for hours, as do the duty-free shops located in the atrium.
